Previously, Joe was an early employee and led the Americas business at BitGo, one of the largest financial service providers in the digital asset industry. BitGo has over $100B in assets on platform, has facilitated more than $4T in transactions, and processes 20% of all on-chain Bitcoin transactions. During his time at BitGo, Joe led over $25B in deals with top digital asset protocols, investors, and companies. He was instrumental in the go-to-market launches and growth of BitGo’s wallet, custody, prime brokerage, staking, and wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC) businesses.
Joe was also one of the earliest advisors to Ava Labs and Avalanche, a leading layer 1 blockchain with a $10B+ market cap and partnerships with major institutions like JP Morgan, Citibank, and Blackrock.
